Riley had some rice, beans, beef, and chicken and loved it...she comes by it naturally!
Saturday morning we went for a run and then I made pumpkin waffles for breakfast...they were AWESOME! I have had a bit of a pumpkin making spree lately as I have made pumpkin dip, pumpkin muffins, and now pumpkin waffles in the past week...here's a view of the goodies!
After our scrumptous breakfast we went to the pumpkin patch down the street from our house...it was fun! It was a little hotter than we expected but we looked at the beautiful sunflowers, saw an actual pumpkin growing which I have never actually seen, and took a hay ride! 
Riley was a little distracted with the sun in her eyes on the hay ride...she definitely was checking it all out!
After the pumpkin patch we did a little shopping and Riley went to spend the evening with DiDi while we met up with the girls for dinner and a movie...we saw Nights in Rodanthe which was good, but sad like most of Nicholas Sparks' movies...even the romantic parts were sad for me, but all in all it was a good movie and just fun to have a girls night...it was the latest I have gotten home in a LONG time!

Ashley left Sunday morning and after church Riley and I had a great afternoon together...we went to the mall and shared some Quiznos and did a little shopping for Daddy! We then went to Target and to Barnes and Nobles to read some Halloween books...it was a lot of fun!
Now the week is in gear and we are back to the grind...this weekend is a trip to College Station...yeah!
