We have an AMMOS graduate!

Well the day finally came for Jason to graduate from AMMOS, Advanced Maintenance and Munitions Officer School.  His leadership had been grooming him for this course for quite some time.  Between enduring another 4 months away from his girls with all the recent deployments and the fact that this course was known to be extremely challenging and have a high failure rate he just wasn't looking forward to it.  He was selected to attend and this is not something you say no to.  There are many who are eligible but only about 22 maintenance officers get the opportunity to attend this course per year Air Force wide.

I can't speak for him but I'm pretty sure this was the hardest thing he has ever done...the work load was pretty much insane.  He did very well, though, as we all knew and his entire class graduated.  His class was only the second class to have no one wash out.

I was really sad that Riley and I weren't able to attend his graduation.  Seeing that I was 37 weeks pregnant it just wasn't going to happen.  Thankfully Jason's parents flew out to be a part of the graduation ceremony and they had a great time.

 Graduating!
Not only did he graduate but he also won an award.  A major part of this course was a 30 page research paper that everyone had to write.  Jason's paper was selected as the best paper in the class and it was chosen to be published.
So proud of my hubs!
