Grammie and JoePa Visit...

We had a great time with Grammie and JoePa this past weekend...I wish they were still here! My dad came ready to party but I don't think he and I had the same definition of "partying" because I put him to work...cleaning out the garage, putting things in and out of the attic, and raking the obscene amount of leaves in our yard...he loved every bit of it and he worked very hard...and thanks to Josh for helping out as well!

When I woke up Saturday morning this is what I found when I walked in the living room...

Riley and JoePa were enjoying some Saturday morning cartoons...they were having too much fun!
Here's Riley playing with her Noah's Ark with Grammie and JoePa...

Part of the reason for this visit was to be together to celebrate Grammie's birthday...I won't disclose her age but she's just a wee bit over 40! We celebrated with a nice dinner at Cafe Prego...one of my mom's favorite Little Rock restaurants...it's quirky and quaint and the food is delicious! Megan and Dave joined us as well so there were no dull moments...Happy Birthday Grammie!

On Sunday we went to church and then met up with the LoRusso family for lunch...we all ate way too much food, but had a great time! I think Riley ate the most at one meal she's ever eaten...geez! The girl knows when we are at a buffet!

It happened to be Brunch with Santa day so Riley got to meet Santa for the first time...she was pretty inquisitive and thoroughly checked him out but she never complained! They had a professional photographer there tickling her nose and she was smiling from ear to ear...I missed the huge grin with my camera but she still looks cute! I can't wait to see the photographer's picture...I'm sure we will visit Santa again when Daddy gets home!

And what better to end a huge meal than a ride on the horsie...Grammie loves to do this with Riley and as you can see Riley is quite a fan...she was just giggling in glee!
Thanks for the great weekend Grammie and JoePa...can't wait to see you again soon!
