On Saturday we sent the boys off to go golfing and we took the kiddos to the Jelly Belly Factory! We had lots of fun, tasted lots of jelly beans, and got to see how the jelly beans are made!
Riley had a bit of a meltdown prior to the tour because there was a HUGE stairway that was apparently calling her name but I knew better and was not letting her go up the stairs...some of the ladies at the tasting bar lured her back over with some sweet treats!
We all had to wear our Jelly Belly hats for the duration of the tour...surprisingly Riley and Cooper loved wearing their hats so that was not a problem!
Ready to go!
Ready to go!
The kids did great on the tour...Coops rode in the stroller for the first half and then they switched! The tour was pretty cool but since they aren't in production on the weekends we didn't actually get to see anything being done other than what they showed in the videos...we'll just have to go back during the week!
It was cool to find out the history of the jelly bean and how instrumental President Reagan was in the popularity of Jelly Belly...they had all kinds of art masterpieces made out of jelly beans that was so cool!
After Jelly Belly we headed home to put the kiddos down for a nap and waited for the boys to get home from a tough morning of golf! We decided to take some pics in the backyard and then head to Napa for some dinner...
All the girlies...
All the girlies...
Our studly men...
We ended up eating at a Mexican restaurant called The Border in Napa...they were able to accommodate our party and we had been wanting to try it out...it was good!
