Life...

Well life has been a little crazy these past few weeks...perhaps a bit more crazier than we would like but I think this is a short season of busyness and we will welcome a more slow pace when it arrives!!!

Most of the busyness is due to our jobs...blah!

Jason was welcomed home from his deployment with the responsibility of being a squadron commander...a position he really shouldn't hold for another 4 - 6 years...sheesh! So he's the only officer in a squadron of 350+ people and has a lot on his plate. He's in lots of meetings, has a secretary keeping track of him, and has worked pretty much every day in some capacity since we've been back from TX. It's a great opportunity for him and I know he's doing a great job. He should just be filling these shoes for a few short months!

Here's Riley checking out his office when we went to visit him one afternoon...she then showed off her dance skills to everyone in the surrounding offices!

I have also been super busy and somewhat overwhelmed with my job...somehow I managed to get handed a HUGE IT project that involves a lot of project management and some tight deadlines...it's been fun to work on something of this nature but I'm ready for the next few weeks to be over and this project to go live so I can breathe again...phew!

In spite of the "busyness" we have still managed to have lots of fun!

We have teeter tottered...

and teeter tottered some more with Braden!

We have gone to ride Racing Stripes several times...

We went bowling with the squadron and had lots of fun!

Miss Independent had to carry her own ball all by herself!

We have blown lots of bubbles!

And enjoyed every bit of family time that we've had!

Bike riding is always a fun family thing to do!

This past weekend we headed up to Walnut Creek to do some shopping and eat at PF Changs...one of Jason's favorites!

We stopped at REI on the way and Riley found this tent and she and I sat in it for almost half an hour...I think camping might be in our future!

When Jason found us she made him get in too!

And here's Miss Thang strolling in her shades...always making a scene!
