We really worked on celebrating the true reason for Easter...Riley and I did a few activities the week leading up to Easter. One day we talked about the story of Jesus washing the disciples feet and I washed her feet. She decided she wanted to wash my feet too...it was such a neat thing to share with her!
But the Easter Bunny still is a part of our day too and boy did he bring some loot!

Tessa didn't know what was going on but she did score some new Tom's from DiDi...now she just needs to grow into them...she and Riley have matching ones...too cute!
She searched and searched for all the eggs in the house!
Then she had a Cinnabunny for breakfast! Talk about a day full of ingesting sugar!
We went to Easter service at our church and then headed to Brix in Napa to celebrate with friends. This is our second annual Easter brunch at Brix and it was wonderful as usual!

We invited our friends Chris and Carrie to brunch with us and it was so fun!
There were a few eggs out in the gardens and Riley had fun looking for them!
Don't mess with her eggs...these were real hard boiled eggs...not plastic ones!
We ate ourselves silly and just relaxed the rest of the day!!
